HOW TO FOLLOW OTHER WARHAMMER PAINTERS

Latest is the community feed: painted models, new acquisitions, progress on other people's armies, and app news. This guide covers finding people worth following and joining in.

How do I find other painters to follow?

A few routes, easiest first:

What's the difference between the All and Following feeds?

All is everyone: painted photos, units added, models moving between build states, new members, badges, plus Warhammer news and app announcements.

Following is the same stream narrowed to people you follow. It is the quieter one, and the one worth checking daily once you follow a few people.

Both respect the faction selector in the top bar — set it to one army and the feed narrows to it.

Each tab has a Latest / Hot control. Latest is chronological. Hot ranks by how much attention a post is getting, which surfaces good work you would otherwise scroll past.

Your choice is remembered per tab, on that device.

How do I like or comment on someone's photo?

The heart likes it; hovering over the count shows who else did. The comment box takes @mentions, so you can pull someone into a thread.

You can delete your own comments. Liking and commenting need an account and a connection.

How do I browse just the photos?

The Photos tab is a grid of painted models from across the app. It has:

Any photo opens to its own page, with the recipe used, the model's timeline, and comments.

What are Groups?

Groups are cohorts you land in automatically: your language, your country, your city, and one for supporters. They are a way to see the part of the feed that is near you.

Countries and cities come from what you set in Settings — the feed cannot place you otherwise. Membership is private.

The Groups tab is an early-access feature, so it is not open to every account yet.

How do I share a post?

Every card has a share control — the OS share sheet on mobile, a copied link on desktop. Photo pages, list pages and profiles are all public reads, so a link works for whoever you send it to.

How do I block or report someone?

Block is on their profile. A blocked person cannot see you and you will not see them; it also removes any follow between you. Unblock is in Settings under Blocked users.

Report is on the profile too, for anything that needs a human to look at it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to read the feed?

No — you can read it signed out. Following, liking, commenting and posting need an account.

Will my collection show up publicly?

Only if discovery is switched on in Settings. That single toggle governs whether your profile, collection and lists are visible and whether your activity reaches the feed. Turn it off and you can still use everything privately.

Why is my post not in the feed?

Check that discovery is on. Some events are also spaced out deliberately — adding several units in a row does not post one card each.

Can I see only the people I follow?

Yes, that is the Following tab. Leaders also has an All Users / Following switch.

What is WIP?

Work in progress — a model that is not finished. Those photos are shared with people who follow you rather than with everyone, which is why the Photos tab hides them until you ask.
